Nokia Solution and Networks (NSN) is a global organisation with 200 locations on all continents. Moreover, the company collaborates with a vast number of third parties to deliver world class products and services.
How do you organise all the information from these locations and third parties in a way that it optimally contributes to managing your business? This was the question i-to-i consultant Jeroen Kalden set out to answer through his assessment.
Jeroen took a closer look at NSN Wide Area Network (WAN) armed with a list of requirements: raise the quality of IT services in general, provide a better insight into costs, reduce service interruptions and ensure a shorter recovery time.
The assessment phase is now finished and Jeroen has presented the results to his project sponsor. The next phase is to set up and deliver an optimisation programme to improve the WAN network performance. This is a project that not only contributes to a state of the art network, but also provides NSN management with the best possible information with which to make decisions.
