David Fagan is Consultant and Business Development Manager at i-to-i. David studied Materials Science/Physics at the University of Wales in Bangor. After University David joined ICL and has worked around the world (including in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Australia and the USA). One of his key achievements at ICL was as System Architect, Designer and Technical project leader for ICL's 4GL QuickBuild product suite. David was subsequently responsible for ICL’s development and introduction of specialist products into the “security”, “intelligence”, “defence”, and “police” markets in the UK and internationally. He was particularly focused on using technology for business advantage, primarily in the area of fraud detection and prevention. David further developed his business skills at Oracle Corporation and BroadVision Inc., working with established business “thought leaders” such as Professor Bo Hedberg, Professor Cor Molenaar, Professor Adrian Payne, Paul Postma, Don Peppers, Dr. Martha Rogers and Professor Kaj Storbacka. David is now a well-known speaker across Europe at business congresses, lecturing part-time at Webster University on their MBA programme and is a "visiting fellow" at Cranfield University School of Management. David's recent roles for clients have been as interim Managing Director, interim Sales and Marketing Director and Strategic Advisor on deploying technology for business advantage. David's strongest point is his deep understanding of all IT (from chip design to the user interface) coupled with a comprehensive appreciation of modern business strategies, issues and problems. This is backed up with over 25 years of practical experience developing business with major global corporations at strategic levels. |
